Christmas Morning

Christmas eve we came home and got Santa’s cookies and milk ready and got the kids ready for bed and went on a family walk to look for Santa. After the kids fell asleep Jonathon and I played Santa. Payton had been looking forward to Christmas the entire month ever since she saw the first present under the tree. That day I told her that once we feel asleep and woke up then we could open presents so she ran to her bed and got up and told me that she woke up so then I had to explain to her that once the sun went to bed and woke up then we could open presents. She was one excited little girl once the sun did come up! Payton got lots of doggies and pet shops and Britton got a horse, cars and fun boy toys. We enjoyed the day together as a family and took our time until it Payton and Britton were ready for naps and then we headed out to my mom’s and Ron’s house for Christmas over there.

Payton preparing the cookies for Santa.

Jonathon's favorite gift. Little Cottontail book from his mommy. She use to read it to him all the time when he was little. Now he gets to read it to his little cottontails.

Santa came!

A stocking with doggies!

Just what she asked Santa for.
Britton playing with sissy's piano.
Payton opening her present. I think she enjoyed the opening part more than what she was getting.
Britton wanting to know where his Christmas Breakfast is.

O wow! A pink unicorn horse!
