Sunday fun at Nee and Poppie's house

After church on Sunday Jonathon, Payton and I went to my mom and Ron’s house for some good home cooking and fun time. We love going out to hang out with them because everything is so relaxing, Payton has a blast running around and did I mention the good home cooking?!? My mom makes the most yummy and unique meals. The only problem is that Jonathon always complains that he never gets good cooking like that when he is at home… I guess my menu of three recipes does not match up to my mom’s ever changing delicious menu. We ate coconut chicken soup, chicken nachos and of course cookie dough. Payton woke up from her nap in a not so happy mood and was not up for eating until we got the strawberries and blueberries out with extra whip cream. She then got to take Jack on a walk, which made her very happy until he pulled her down and made her very upset to the point that she refused to walk him (YES!). Thanks mom and Ron for the great Sunday and excellent food! We love you guys!Deceptively Delicious!

Beach

Payton and I went with Rhea and Jayden to Cocoa Beach to meet up with Linda, Natalie and Brianna for the night. Here are some of the photos from the trip.

I bought this monkey harness for Payton when she was about 14 months and she has never been crazy about it but now she loves it. I think she thinks she is walking me when she has it on and I am holding the leash. Rhea decided to buy Jayden one so I did not look like the only weird person walking my child. Jayden decided on the bear and Payton had a lot of fun walking him around.

Precious the Dog...poor thing!

Paula and Hannah let Payton play with their dog Precious after church on Sunday. Payton likes to walk this sweet little dog on a leash. She held her the whole time she was with her and by the end of the visit Precious was exhausted and annoyed from being pulled around.

As I am doing this post Payton is sitting beside me yelling to me, "Here you go! Ma! Here you go! Precious! Here you go!" and trying to take her out of the computer screen. Now she is crying about it so this will end the post ;(.

Fun time with cousin Cameryn

After going to Chuckie Cheese Cameryn got to come back home and spend a few days with us. Cameryn is such a sweet little girl and Payton loves playing with her. I really enjoyed her company and had lots of fun with her.

Chuckie Cheese...

...Where a kid (or adult) can be a kid!Jonathon and I took Payton to Chuckie Cheese for the first time. Payton had a blast! We meet up with my sister Christy and Cameryn and Madison. Payton and Madison loved Chuckie and Cameryn said he was gross (I agree;). It is so neat to remember how exciting it was to be there as a kid and now be bring my child there. I told Jonathon that I could not believe that I was old enough to be taking my own child to Chuckie Cheese. Daddy and Payton playing

Girls night out

My friend Falon and her old roomie Crystal organized a girls night out for a bunch of girls to get together once a month and go to a restaurant. I missed last month but I got to go this month to Outback and it was so much fun! I got to meet some new people and see some people I have not seen in a while. Although boys are great it is nice to be with just the girls some time;). I can't wait till next month.
Hubby Tag
I usually don’t do these tags but because I love Stephanie so much and since I have nice things to say about Jonathon here goes…1. What is his name?
Jonathon Craig Wise
2. Who eats more?
Jonathon eats more at once but I am a snacker and eat a lot more frequently. Jonathon eats only 2 or 3 times a day but they are large meals and I eat at least 5 times a day. So if you added all the food together it would be pretty close.
3. Who said "I love you" first?
Jonathon said I love you first.
4. Who is taller?
Jonathon is about 3 inches taller than me but sometimes with shoes we look close in height… which drives him crazy;).
5. Who is smarter?
Well of course I am… haha… just joking! We definitely have are areas of expertise!
6. Who is more sensitive?
This is probably a tie.
7. Who does the laundry?
I usually do the laundry but Jonathon always backs me up if I need help.
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
I sleep on the right side of the bed… it is closer to the bathroom!
9. Who pays the bills? I do. That way I know how much money is left for shopping;).
10. Who cooks more?
I do most of the cooking.
11. What meals do you cook together?
Usually something with the grill because I am too scared to mess with it (or should I say too lazy to sit and watch the food cook)
12. Who is more stubborn?
That would definitely be me. I think Jonathon would agree with that as well.
13. Who is the first to admit they are wrong?
Because I am never wrong the answer is Jonathon.
14. Who has more siblings?
Jonathon has more. I have a sister and brother and Jonathon has two sisters and a brother.
15. Who wears the pants in the relationship?
It use to be me but I have gotten softer. We are both very fair and understanding in our relationship and try to be flexible with each other. We make most decisions together so there is not a lot of room for one to wear the pants.
16. What do you like to do together?
We have lots of things we like to do together… as long as we are together. Jonathon is my best friend and I love being with him.
17. Who eats more sweets?
Probably me but Jonathon has been into them lately… we are bad influences on each other in this area.
18. His guilty pleasures?
Watching stupid sports and looking up stupid internet sports facts.
19. How did you meet?
Jonathon and I met when I was 14 years old through a mutual friend.
20.Who asked out who first? I asked Jonathon out first.
21. Who kissed who first?
It took Jonathon 6 months to kiss me. He was so shy when we first started dating.
22. Who proposed?
Jonathon proposed to me on Valentine’s day. We went to the Melting Pot and I thought he was going to propose but after dinner and no ring I thought I was wrong until I went to his house and his roommate had candles, rose petals and sweet music playing… I was in shock. It was so sweet and overwhelming! Everything was so exciting until one of the pillows on his bed went up in flames from a candle. Luckily only the pillow was destroyed and the night was still perfect.
23. His best features?
I love so many of Jonathon’s features such as his beautiful smile, great skin, every other feature he has… he is so cute!
24. What is his greatest quality?
Jonathon has so many great qualities. He is so loving and caring. He always makes me feel so special and important. I think his greatest quality is how great of a father he is… I love seeing Payton and him together. I love my Jonathon so much!
I am tagging Katelyn and Rhea… have fun;).

Play Date in Sanford

Today Payton and I went with Ashlea, Grace and Gavin to Sanford for lunch and some play time. Payton is getting to the age where she likes to play with other kids and loves Grace! When she sees her she says, "hi Grace!". The kids were all really good and I always enjoy hanging out with Ashlea. Thanks Ashlea for a great day and a killer workout at the gym;)!

Happy Birthday Falon

Jonathon, Payton and I went to the new Japaneses Steakhouse in the Villages to surprise my friend Falon for her 24th birthday. Falon and I have been great friends since we were in the 7th grade and I am so lucky to have her friendship. Happy Birthday Falon... you are such a special person.

My 24th Birthday

(This is long...about 11 blogs in 1!)

This year I had quit the celebration for my birthday. I got to go to the Cocoa beach with Linda, Natalie, Katelyn, Rhea, Macie, Jayden and Payton on Wednesday and we went out to eat at Red Lobster. After a wonderful dinner Payton and I drove home to spend my actual birthday with Jonathon. For my birthday, Jonathon made me the most delicious Oreo cake (my favorite and a family tradition) took me to get a pedicure, let me go to any store I wanted and take as much time as I wanted (I took full advantage and went to Target, Joanne Fabrics, Babies R Us, Marshalls, DSW and the Party Store) went to Longhorn for lunch and then went to my mom's house for pizza and finally we went to see Get Smart. The next morning my mom, Payton and I packed up and headed for Sarasota for some more beach time. We had the most wonderful time together. Here are some of the highlights of my birthday.

Bath TimeJayden being silly and Payton telling him to stop it... Macie just wondering why her cousins are so crazy! Red Lobster I got to pick the restaurant for my birthday and I chose red lobster because they have such amazing coconut shrimp! After a delicious meal we got a cookie dessert that was out of this world! Linda, thank you so much for the wonderful trip. It is so much fun hanging out with all the girls (and Jayden). I am so lucky to have such great in-laws and especially Linda as my mother-in-law... you're the best! Love ya Linda!

My Actual Birthday Day Here I am getting all excited about my target gift certificates my mom got me. Thank you so much Jonathon for giving me such a special birthday and for always being so good to me. I love you so much! You are the best husband in the world!

Sarasota Beach (Lido Beach)

After arriving at Sarasota Beach (we stayed at Lido Beach which is in Sarasota) we went straight to the gulf and what a treat this was. The beach was so beautiful and the water was breathtaking. I usually hate going in the ocean because I have this fear of not being about to see what is in the water but this was not a problem here. The water was crystal clear and was not that cold so I spent half of my beach time in the water. We got floats and relaxed in the gulf. What a great trip this was!

Look at how calm the water is.

The Nightmare! (stinkin dogs with leashes!)

After a really good nap in the room we got ready and headed down to the Circle for dinner and shopping. We went to this restaurant that has setting inside and outside which I thought would be great because it would be more noisy so I did not have to work as hard at keeping Payton quite... I was wrong! Along with the noise outside came the extra luxury people had of having their dogs with them and what a nightmare that was! Payton spotted a dog on a leash and went nuts! She has a new thing about putting dogs on leashes and walking them and when she saw this dog she thought it was her right to hold the leash. At first it was okay because the people with the dog were nice enough to let her pet the dog and even hold him, but that was not enough! She insisted on holding the leash and they let her do that as well and walk him. I knew it was going to get out of hand because there were tons of people in the walk way that were running into her and the dog did not appreciate getting pulled by a 2 year old. I had to grab Payton after a few minutes and take her down the street were she cried and screamed for about 10 minutes. The whole dinner I worked really hard at keeping her occupied and her back to the dog. Next time I will definitely be eating at a dog free restaurant! Besides the nightmare of the dog and the leash the food was really good and probably the best mahi mahi fish I have ever had.

Playtime

After a long stressful dinner we let Payton blow off some energy in the middle of the circle. Here is my mom and Payton playing.

The Photo Shoot

We found this really cool tree to take photos on. There were the most beautiful and tropical trees there. I really felt like I was on a tropical island.

The Sarasota Sunset

My mom and I just missed the sunset but from all of the people I saw on the beach I know that this will be something I will have to come back to see. My mom said that it is the most beautiful sunset... the sky was still pretty after the sun went down.

End of the night... Candy Time!
Here is my mom and Payton getting really tired. Good thing though because my mom and I went to the candy store and got homemade fudge and a caramel apple and waited for Payton to fall asleep in our room so we could get the party started;).

Siesta Keys- Most Beautiful Beach Ever!
We decided to pack up and go to Siesta Keys to see the sugar sand that everyone talks about and it is true. Siesta Key was only 10 minutes away from the hotel we stayed at and was worth the trip. It was probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sand was so pretty and fun to play in and the water was crystal clear. We saw big schools of fish swim by and I was not ever afraid. Lido Beach and Siesta Key Beach are perfect for young children because they are so clean and the water is so calm. I can't wait to go again!

Gorgeous Beach!

The sand is everything that I heard it was. It felt so cool when you sit in it and when you walk on it it's cold.

The water was crystal clear here as well. I would stand in water that came to my shoulders and still be able to see my toes.
Saying goodbye to a perfect trip.

Mom, Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday celebration you gave me and Payton. We had so much fun and just love spending time with you... you're so special to me. I love you so much!
