Happy 1st Birthday Alex

Happy Birthday Alex! You are such a sweet and loving little boy and we love you very much! Come on MOM! Stop playing games and give me my cake!
Finally the good stuff!

Once Britton discovered that Alex had a giant cake he tried to get in on the action.

Excuse me Alex... Can I get a bite of that?!?

Alex was nice enough to share with his cousin and Britton was one happy little boy.

Brown Doggie

This little brown dog has been the joy of Payton’s world for a long time now. It has been the one toy that has she has consistently chosen to sleep with, take with her everywhere, bathe with and do about everything else with. Because of it’s size and Payton miss placing it I have had to purchase two additional $20 boxes of Barbie to just get the little brown dog. I decided to check out ebay and found just the dog set for like $6.00 so I thought it was a deal and Payton was so excited to get it in the mail.

Zoo

Payton wanted to feed the turkey and I told her no because it bits so she was being very protective of Britton going around the cage.

Jonathon and I decided to pack the kids up and head to the Zoo today. It was a lot of fun seeing all of the different animals and the Payton and Britton had a great time. We started off my feeding the stinky goats which was really cool. They would nibble the food out of your hand and Britton even got to feed them. After exploring the different animals we got a snack and headed to the elephant show. We were the first to get there so we got great seats at the very top of the bleachers which was great for watching the show until Payton shouted out that the Elephant had a wiener! I wanted to get up and walk away from the silent crowd but we were blocked in so I just asked Payton to Shhh! My face turned very red the second time she shouted it out into the silent crowd. Besides my little girl's comments we had a great time as a family.

Christmas Night

After having a great day with my little family we went out to my mom and Ron’s house to celebrate Christmas with my family. We had lots of fun hanging out and being silly. I sure do love the holidays and the time I get to spend with family… there is nothing better in this world then family and friends! Payton riding her new scooter.

Christmas Morning

Christmas eve we came home and got Santa’s cookies and milk ready and got the kids ready for bed and went on a family walk to look for Santa. After the kids fell asleep Jonathon and I played Santa. Payton had been looking forward to Christmas the entire month ever since she saw the first present under the tree. That day I told her that once we feel asleep and woke up then we could open presents so she ran to her bed and got up and told me that she woke up so then I had to explain to her that once the sun went to bed and woke up then we could open presents. She was one excited little girl once the sun did come up! Payton got lots of doggies and pet shops and Britton got a horse, cars and fun boy toys. We enjoyed the day together as a family and took our time until it Payton and Britton were ready for naps and then we headed out to my mom’s and Ron’s house for Christmas over there.

Jonathon's favorite gift. Little Cottontail book from his mommy. She use to read it to him all the time when he was little. Now he gets to read it to his little cottontails.
