Picnic at NSB

Today I took Britton to NSB for a picnic and a walk on the board walk. We had a great time until the end when the kids both got so tired. It is 1.5 miles and at about 1.1 miles they had enough and at that point there was no turning back. Next time I will take something with wheels with me.

Lizard Bite Me!

Britton came up to me and said "lizard bite me!" It stayed on his finger for a while and it did not bother Britton. He is way braver than I am!

Love Day

After leaving the kids with Jonathan for the weekend to be in NYC, I was very excited to spend Valentines day with them. I missed them so much! We went on a build-a-bear date.

This is what I got for V-Day!

NYC- Sightseeing

Empire State Building New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street The Statue of Liberty

Friends building
Ground Zero. It made it so real and sad being here.

I was such a tourist... I could not resist taking a picture with this statue. Katelyn has the look of disgust because of how dirty it was:).

NYC- Girl's Night Out

Katelyn, Rhea and I got to go out to dinner at the View (restaurant not the show). We had so much fun getting to spend time together as just the girls. We got to do lots of girl talk and lots of relaxing at a restaurant that slowly rotated around showing the city.

NYC- Top of the Rock

We all got to go to the top of the Rockefeller building and get a great view of the city. It really made me feel very small seeing all of these large buildings. NYC truly is like no other place.

The purple W is were we stayed.
The Ball. I always thought it was a lot bigger than how big it looked from on top of the Rock.

NYC- Central Park

Me and Natalie ice skating in Central Park.

NYC- The Big Apple!!!

I had been waiting on New York pizza and when I finally got it I was in heaven!! I'm not sure I would think so highly of it if it was in Florida but knowing that it was New York pizza made it taste so good! My first subway ride. We went to ChinaTown and it made me cross China off my list of places to see.

Before the trip I was worried about what I would pack and what kind of jacket to get but Jonathan told me that we should not worry to much because we would probably look like hillbillies compared to the high fashion in New York City. I think he was way wrong!! I think we fitted right in!!
