It's a boy!

expecting a boy banner
I went today to get an ultrasound done and the tech thinks its a boy. I thought it was a girl since I have been so sick, but once the tech went in that area I said it before the ultrasound tech said it. As long as the baby is healthy then I am happy! I have two names picked out: Brayden and Britten... what do you think? 13w2d

Disney's Epcot

Jonathon and I took Payton to Disney's Epcot. There was not a ton of things for toddlers to do but we did luck out and find a small playground that she loved. It is amazing how it is the simple things that children love.

He passed!

Jonathon took his final national boards (part III) 6 weeks ago and the results are in and they are good! It has been 6 long weeks of waiting with lots at stake, but as I and everyone else knew Jonathon did great! Now Jonathon just has to pass the Florida Boards and he will be done with all of the test. He will officially be a Doctor in September! Good Job Jonathon! You're Awesome!

Happy Birthday My Love

Today was Jonathon’s birthday and what a wonderful day it is. I love Jonathon’s birthdays because it reminds me of how grateful I am that he was born. He is the best husband ever and such a great father! I was a little under the weather for his birthday but he was extremely understanding and still had a great day hanging out with Michael, Geoffrey and Rick at the movies and then going back to his mom’s for sushi. Happy Birthday Jonathon! I love you so much and feel so blessed to be your wife.

On the Lake with my Family

This weekend my sister, her husband Cameron, my nieces Cameryn and Madison, my mom, my brother, Jonathon, Payton and I all went out to the lake house for some family fun. It was lots of fun being with my brother and sister since I don’t get to see them that much and Jonathon and Bryant have the best time being crazy together. Bryant is a little dare devil and to prove my point Jonathon was pulling him on the water skis going 55 mph (what an idiot!) But I do have to say that he is a talented idiot. After the lake my sister and her family came back to stay the night at my house which was lots of fun because Christy and Cameron are huge McDonald's fan so we got to eat from there at 10pm at night. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and crazy family… I just love them all so much!

Here mommy... a pretty weed for you.

Me warning my new brother-in-law not to eat that or he might loose some of those muscles;).

Payton has had it with all of the photos so she is taking off for the lake.

The Coolest Pool Ever

After seeing photos on Ashlea’s blog of her communities’ kiddie pool I have been determined to take Payton there to go swimming. I finally got to go today and what a blast it was! This pool is gated all the way around so the kids could run around freely and the pool is only 1 foot deep with lots of space and a cool water fountain in the middle. At first Payton was a little unsure about it and went under a few times but with time she got more confident and realized that she could pick herself up from it. It was the most relaxed I have been by a pool since Payton started walking. I am not a huge fan of cold water so it was nice to let her play freely and be able to only get my legs wet. We stayed out there for like three hours and I probably could have stayed longer if Payton would not have worn herself out. Thanks Ashlea for the awesome time.

Pudding Painting

I got this great advise that pudding painting was perfect for a toddler so they can eat the pudding instead of finger paint. Payton had a blast with this activity and got a good snack out of it.

Demanding Little Girl

(Don't worry... I was at a traffic light taking this photos ;)
Payton has this thing in the car that when she gets sleepy or grouchy she makes me touch her leg. I am not sure what it is about it but she insists on it. Besides the loss of one arm and the soreness from reaching my arm backwards I don’t mind because it really does calm her which calms me because she is not screaming at me and if I am lucky I can get a good nap out of her;).

Georgia Wedding

This weekend we all loaded up and took off to Georgia for Jonathon's cousin's wedding. We were all a little nervous with having the babies in the car for 6 hours each way but really they were all very good (minus the little bit of crying and a few stinky diapers;). Kayla and Kyle's wedding was beautiful! Kayla was one of the most beautiful and most happy bride I have ever seen. With every wedding there comes a few unexpected problems but even with there being rain she just smiled and laughed the whole time. This couple has been together since they were in the sixth grade... pretty crazy since you really only hear about high school sweethearts. Payton's first out-of-state trip.
My amazing family. This is why you see more of Jonathon in the photos with Payton then me. He took four photos and this was the most of me he got;).
