A Man in love with His Baby

It doesn't get much cuter than a man dressed up in a white shirt and tie and loving on his baby girl after a long day at work. Photos like this make me feel like the luckest girl in the world! I love Jonathan so much and feel so blessed to call him my husband and the father of my children. 

One of my favorite things to do...

Today the kids had the day off of school. I thought about taking them to a theme park but as a Floridian I don't feel the need to stand in long lines and don't feel the need to fight crowds. So instead of going anywhere I decided to do one of the kids favorite things, and also one of my favorite things, which is to hang out around the house. One of my most favorite things to do is to go walking down Paradise Lane with the kids. Payton enjoys riding her bike, Britton likes riding his scooter, Camdyn loves riding in the stroller and I love watching three happy children and getting exercise! 

We had to take a pit stop to hunt some lizards.

A Grandma with number 10?

How is it possible for her to look this beautiful, young and put together and be holding her 10th grand baby ?!? Although she doesn't look like a grandma... She is the greatest grandma that 10 grand kids could ask for!!!  Not only does she love them so much but they all love her so much! I'm so grateful to have her as my children's grandma. She's a very special lady (and holding a very special little baby:)!

Tummy time

Camdyn is just like britton in that she hates Tummy time!! Scares me that we might have anothe baby Britton on our hands!!

A sweet conversation between Payton and Britton

Tonight while I was getting the kids tv show ready Payton and Britton had the sweetest conversation. Britton told Payton that when she was older she would have a husband and she firmly assured him that she would never be married. Then the conversation went like this:

P: Britton, do you want to get married one day?
B: Well... I guess. I would like to have kids one day.
P: you could adopt kids.
B: I would need a mom for my kids.
P: I could help you take care of your kids.
B: we could be like married but not married and take care of the kids.


I love that Britton said he wants kids and recogonizes that his kids need a mommy.  I was a little surprised to hear him say he wanted kids.  I didn't realize he even though about that.

Lazy Girls!

I have Tyson who only cares about food and then there's Lucy who only cares about being in a comfortable bed!! She's always trying to get in bed with the kids or find a comfy pillow. She's definitely our little Lazy Lucy!

Payton finally lost her first tooth!!

After 7 years and 4 months, Payton finally lost her first tooth!! I got a good flick in and it finally came out. She was so excited. Her tooth fairy named Tia brought her 5 dollars, a tiny note, a fairy pic of Tia and a pack of stickers. 

Camdyn- 2 months old

She still sleeps a lot and is as sweet as can be. She smiles a lot now! Nursing has been a challenge but since I know it's the best thing for her, I've tried really hard to stick it out.
