Visit with Grandma Ears

My grandma got a total knee replacement and is doing great! We got to go visit her today at a rehab center she got to stay at in the Villages. This was such a nice rehab/ nursing center.

Here is Britton trying to figure out what this bus was doing.

The kids loved this place! Ice cream, popcorn and wheel chair rides!!

Happy 27th Birthday to Me!

This year for my birthday I wanted to take it very easy. Linda took me on a birthday day on Friday. We went and got a pedicure, went to lunch and did a little shopping... great time!! My actual birthday was on Sunday so we went to church, ate lunch at Linda and Ricks and ate a delicious birthday cake that Payton and Linda made. I got to come home and take a nap and spend time with my family. It was a great birthday! This was the best present I have ever gotten! Payton had been saying for about two months that she wanted to get me a feather pen for my birthday. Jonathan went to three different stores looking for one and had no luck. Grandma Good Girl saved the day and got the stuff to make one. Payton was SO SO excited to give this pen to me! I told her the night before that I could not sleep because I was so excited to get her present and she told me I had to go to sleep to be able to get my present;). She had it wrapped in Disney wrapping paper and when she gave it to me it truly proved that it is better to give than receive. Payton's face and joy was priceless. I'm so grateful for her caring little heart!

I also had a clown for my birthday!

Jonathan told me I could pick anything I wanted for him to cook for dinner and I chose a boxed pizza... I'm for the most part a very simple girl!

My beautiful cake and the chefs that made it!

Not sure if they can fit 27 candles on the cake :(

Britton getting a tractor ride on Sunday in church attire!

Payton's Talk on Temples

Payton gave a great talk today in Primary. We practiced and practiced but when it came time to actually do it she got a little stage fright and I thought I was going to have to take over again like the last talk. But after a minute she warmed up to the crowd and did a great job! I love my girl so much and I'm so proud of how great she did!

*This video is the last part of the talk.

Payton's talk:

Temples are Very Special to Me and My Family
Temples are very special to me and my family. I like to go to the Orlando temple with my family. We walk around and look at the beautiful building and talk about Jesus. My little brother gets so excited when he sees the angel Moroni at the top of the big white temple.
Temple’s are sacred buildings and each one is called the house of the Lord.
The temple allows us to serve others.

The temple gives us peace.

We can receive inspiration and answers to our prayers in our temple.

We can be sealed in the temple so we can be with our family forever and receive great blessings.
My mommy and Daddy were sealed in the Orlando temple before I was born and this is special to me because I got to be born under the covenant and will be with my parents for eternity. The temple blesses me and my family in many ways. I am grateful for the temple. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our date with Britton

Payton was so excited to finally get to stay the night with Grandma! So we were down one kid and decided to go to the Millennium mall. Britton was such a good boy... or a good Britton. He did not have to get in his stroller once and only got corrected once at Pottery Barn Kids by the sales associate and once at the Gap by the sales associate... this is progress!!

I love this crazy little boy so much!!!

Highlights from our 4th of July weekend in Orlando

Jayden and Madison did the pie eating contest and both did a great job!!

Madison ate so much she got sick... literally!

Payton had to have her face painted so we waited in an hour long line! It was worth it!

She loved it!

Natalie got her face painted too!

Also, worth the wait!

Ready for fireworks!

Uptown Family Date

Tonight we went on a family date to the Altamonte Mall and then to Uptown Altamonte.

Why did they not have this fence around the fountain the day Britton feel in it when it was freezing cold outside?!?

Everyone loves a suprise!

Today I went shopping by myself while the kids stayed home with Jonathan. I told them if they were extra good I would bring them each a surprise.
