Making Christmas Cookies

I asked what kind of cookies Santa would want this year and she said he wanted star cookies so I decided to do my once a year cookie cut outs with the kids. They had a great time making messes and Santa was happy to get his star cookies!
Payton of course had to get into costume!

Cottom Farms

We tried out Cottom Farms this year and it was really neat. My mom and I took Payton and Britton to meet up with Katelyn, Rhea, Geoffrey, Linda and the kids. We all got to ride on a hay ride and look at beautiful lights. Lots of fun and a great way to get in the holiday spirit!

Bubble Boy

Britton was being so silly and dipping his face in the bubbles and then laughing like crazy.

Britton is offically potty trained!!

I am so proud of my big boy Britton. He has done so good with his potty training!! We still have been keeping pull ups on him during the night but it is even very rare for him to wake up with a wet pull up. I have heard everyone say that boys are harder but in my case I got him potty trained one month earlier than Payton... but that might be because I was a little braver this time. There definitely are some differences with boys and girls such as little boys pee all over the place but the trade off is no wiping the front so that means we can pee where ever we want!! Britton told me he had to go pee pee the other day on my way to my sister's house so we pulled over on the side of 44 and let it rain! I have not had any car accidents yet... knock on wood. I bought him a piddle pad and have not had to use it once!

I do have to say that if I ever do potty train again that it will not be during the holidays because it has been a tough journey taking him in and out of store restrooms... and the buttons are way too interesting for Britton not to touch!! One of my Target trips took 1:45 minutes because Britton kept telling me he had to go potty so I would rush to the restrooms and nothing for three tries. No fun when your trying to concentrate on holiday shopping! But we have not had any accidents in any stores so it's a trade off I guess.

Jonathan and I are so proud of our big boy and so thankful to not have to buy diapers!!! It's been a good four years and I'm ready for a break;).

Jumping Around

Payton and Britton and I went up to Oviedo to meet Ashlea, Gavin and Perian at a gym that converts it's building into a bounce house on Fridays. Grace was at school but Payton was just as happy to play with Gavin. They had a blast together.

They even got to play on the trampolines!

Britton and Perian climbing to the top.
Perian is such a doll face!! She reminds me so much of Grace as a little toddler.

Ashlea got enough nerve to go down the slide;)!
Britton coming down for the hundredth time!

Britton playing with his little buddy.

Golf Cart Parade

This is just one of the million reason's I love my neighborhood! We got to watch the annual Golf Cart Parade. They got so excited to see spectators and gave us lots of candy. The kids thought it was really fun! I look forward to watching next year.
Natalie waiting on the big event. That was a big gingerbread house... how cool is that!!!

Preschool Christmas Party

Payton and Britton's school had a Christmas Pizza Party for their last day of school. I love how their school does these little extra things.

The kids had a dance party after eating pizza.

Those are some great moves Payton!
