A different ward

This Sunday we went to the Rockridge ward since we were staying at Cocoa and it is a good thing because the kids were out of control... even more so than normal! Is it time for Britton to be in nursery yet?!?

Sun Fun

After Jonathon got done with work on Saturday we packed up the car and went to stay a few nights in Cocoa Beach. Payton and Jonathon played a lot in the water and Britton and I played a lot in the sand. We had a great relaxing time as always... except having to leave the beach. Payton with her daddy.

Mother's Day at Duckle Key

We spent Mother's Day at Duckle Key. My mom and Ron made this really cool beach behind their house and it turned out beautiful and so key west like. We had a great and relaxing weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all of the special mothers and especially my mom and Linda.

Happy Birthday Stephanie

Me and Ashlea with the birthday girl

Tonight Jonathon, the kids and I meet up with our good friends Stephanie, Greg, Ashlea and Randy at PF Changs to surprise Stephanie for her birthday. We got to see Stephaine and Greg's little boy Lochlan and what a handsome little guy he is! It took forever to get a table but once we did the food was good. We had a great night until Britton started to get really fussy (I think it was from the choclate milk his sister snuck him earlier) so we had to get our great Wall of chocolate to go. It was so great to see our friends. Happy Birthday Stephanie!

Horsing around

Today my little generous monster decided to switch Britton's apple juice bottle for her chocolate milk. Payton came out to the kitchen with Britton's bottle in her mouth and I told her that it was not nice to take her brother's stuff and I took it from her to give back to Britton and when I came in the room he was gulping Payton's chocolate milk. I hurried up and snatched it from him and he had the biggest smile on his face. He acted fine at first but was very fussy at dinner so I think it upset his stomach a little bit. When I tried to nurse him he wanted nothing to do with it (I think it was because it was not chocolate). I guess I can at least say Payton was generous enough to give Britton something to drink when she decided to swipe his bottle;)
Giddy up Britton!

Payton thought it was so funny that she was giving Britton his bottle. She would put it in his mouth and then take it out and laugh so hard.

St. Augustine AKA Italy

Linda, Payton, Britton, Natalie and I all loaded up the car and headed to St. Augustine to see Rhea, Katelyn and the kids. Katelyn's in-laws have condos down there and were nice enough to let us all stay there. We had such a great time. The beach was beautiful and they had a great kiddie pool that all of the kids loved. On the second night we all went down to the forts of St. Augustine (we pretended like we were in Italy) and walked around and ate at one of the best pizza places. I think it was called Pizza Alley. They had the best bread sticks, salad and pizza. They also were very accommodating with the kids. We went in there with a double stroller and wagon and they got us right in and were very kind and understanding with all of the craziness we brought in. After dinner we went down to a really neat park to play. The craziest bunch in Italy Payton and I standing in front of the pirate ships.

Britton having fun in the sun!

My big boy had such a good time playing in the sand. I tried very hard to keep a pacifier in his mouth because he tried so hard to eat the sand. 6m1w Britton building a sandcastle.

Britton has been standing on his feet like this... I think he is trying to walk.

Britton's 6 month checkup

Today Britton had his 6 month check up. Britton weighted 19.6 pounds and was 27 inches tall. He was in the 75 percentile for both his height and weight. Dr. Madden said that he got the busiest kid award because he was so wiggly and happy. Everything looked good on Britton except for his eyes. Dr. Madden said that I should take him to an eye specialist and possibly have them go in and open his tear ducts. I also got a prescription so I want to give it a few weeks and see if it makes the problem better. Payton went with me to the appointment and gave Britton kisses after he got his shots. Britton did very well with his shots and only cried for like 10 seconds. What a tough little guy!Britton a few minutes after his shots.

Swimming Saturday

Today after Jonathon got down with work we put our bathing suits on and headed down to our club house pool. The water was so cold but it did not stop Jonathon, Payton and Britton. Britton is such a water baby and loves being in the water. He does nuts and starts flopping like a fish. Payton of course loves the water too.
