Trying to stay cool

It has been such a hot summer...no surprise... it's Florida! Thank goodness for pools and especially kiddie pools. We went swimming with Rhea, Jayden and Alex. There is nothing better for cooling off and getting energy out of little monkeys.Payton and Jayden cooling down Big Boy. Britton got his very own pool to swim in. He loves the water.

Grace's Enchanted Tea Party

Payton got to go to Grace's Enchanted Tea Party to celebrate Grace turning 4 years old... such a big girl! The party was so cute and so much fun! Happy Birthday Grace! The birthday girl!Payton after getting ready for the party and getting her glitter makeup on.

The girls got to paint their very own tea cup. There were dress up clothes for the girls to choose and instead of picking a princess dress Payton wanted to wear the Lumpy costume.

Monkeying Around

Today I took the kids to Monkey Joe's and it was no easy task. Our first attempt was stopped after pulling out of the driveway and realizing I had a flat tire. What a nightmare that was trying to explain to Payton after using it as a bribing tool all morning long. After getting my tire fixed we headed out and the kids had a great time once we finally arrived. Natalie and Cameryn played so well together. This was the first time that Britton got to play. Big Boy Button's first time playing at MJs.

Sunday Funday

I was just recently called as a Primary worker and serve as a Sunbeam teacher. Today was my first day teaching. I have never served in the Primary but I already love it so much. I was a little nervous at first and did not know what to expect but fell in love the first few minutes I got to set with all of the children in Primary. Cameyn came with me to my class and assisted me in teaching. We taught about being thankful for our ability to taste and smell. After church we went home and took a long nap and than went roller blading and than played on the golf course. It was a great day.

Too bad I didn't look as cool as I felt;)!

Cameryn is here!

After a long wait Cameryn finally finished school for the summer and was able to come stay with us. She stayed for a week and than went with her grandparents to Alabama to visit some of her family and will be back with us for most of the summer. We cleared out drawers and let her use Payton's bedroom while she is staying. We had such a great time together and she was so helpful with the kids. Cameryn is always so good for me and such a joy to have around. We can't wait for her to come back from Alabama!

The most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen.

Today Jonathon, the kids and I attempted to go walking three different times. We would load up the kids and then have to turn right back around because it would start raining so hard. After the third time of putting the kids in the strollers we were rewarded with the most beautiful rainbow that I have ever seen. I tried to get a full picture of it but it was way to big so I took a picture of each side. It was a perfect half circle and so colorful and bright. We went looking for the pot of gold but by the end of the walk with my family I realized I had already found it;).

Pool Party

Today to beat the heat we had a pool party at Linda's house while she was away at the beach. The kids had a great time getting to be as loud and crazy as they wanted to be!

Britton 7 months too old!

Britton is now 7 months old and growing up so much. I decided to wean him and I don't think he was very happy about losing his best friend. I was a little sad as well but felt like it was the right time and grateful that I was able to do it as long as I did because I almost stopped at 6 weeks. Britton does not care for baby food that much and would much rather eat big boy food which is a challenge sometimes since he has no teeth. Britton still wakes up for feedings twice a night but is really good about going right back to bed. I love my big boy so much!
