Christmas Visit with Grandma Audrey

On Christmas Eve we went to visit Jonathon’s Grandma Audrey to wish her a Merry Christmas. All of the kids had a great time running around and they had a water fountain so of course Britton went nuts. We had to take his shirt off because he could not stay out of it.

Hugs for Grandma Audrey.

Best Christmas present we could have given Britton.

Look at that belly!
Such a little man!

Christmas at Craig and Terri's House

Christmas eve we came home and got Santa’s cookies and milk ready and got the kids ready for bed and went on a family walk to look for Santa. After the kids fell asleep Jonathon and I played Santa. Payton had been looking forward to Christmas the entire month ever since she saw the first present under the tree. That day I told her that once we feel asleep and woke up then we could open presents so she ran to her bed and got up and told me that she woke up so then I had to explain to her that once the sun went to bed and woke up then we could open presents. She was one excited little girl once the sun did come up! Payton got lots of doggies and pet shops and Britton got a horse, cars and fun boy toys. We enjoyed the day together as a family and took our time until it Payton and Britton were ready for naps and then we headed out to my mom’s and Ron’s house for Christmas over there.

Wow! Britton sure is happy!

Payton caught Britton trying to get into stuff... its great having her around because she helps discipline;).

No Brother!

He sure loves this.

Payton and her BFF Emily

Payton’s little friend from preschool came over today with her brother Tyler and mommy Andrea for a play date. From the first week of school Payton and Emily became great friends. I love watching them play together because they are only a few weeks apart in age so they are in the same stages together. It’s nice to be with Andrea and not have to explain to each other why one of them is fussing, not sharing or any of the other fun stuff a 3 and ½ year does. Little princesses! Riding the horse together.

Shopping... Girls Only!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is going to the Florida Mall and staying at the hotel to get all of our Christmas shopping done. Well the past few years we have not been able to do this because our growing families so we decided to take a girls night to get some of our Christmas shopping done. Linda, Rhea, Kate and I went to the Florida Mall, ate at Nordstroms (it was so good!), then went to the Altamonte Mall and then my favorite was Wal-mart at 11pm. We all had such a great time together and filled Linda's car up with as many bags as we could.

Baby and Mommy Hamster

This past month Payton has been really into playing with Britton. It really seemed to have started one day with Payton pretend playing by calling herself baby hamster and Britton was mommy hamster. Payton will get in Britton's pack and play when he is suppose to be sleeping and I will hear the loudest laughter coming out of my room. Payton will even request the Britton comes into her room with her (not all of the time;). Whenever he tries to walk out she will tell me that she wants Britton to play with her... it is about time!

Jonathon asked why he had to be called mommy hamster and mommy monkey and mommy cow so we changed it to stinky monkey and she started calling him stinky rat. They are so funny and bring so much excitement and joy into my life!

Such a cute mommy hamster and baby hamster.

Payton's Preschool Christmas Party

Today Payton had a little Christmas party at her school and parents were invited. The kids sang a few songs and gave their parents a really pretty art project they had been working on. It was really cute and sweet.
Payton did not want to hold a boy's hand.

Andrea and I came in the same shirt. At least I know that more than just Payton thinks my shirt was cool;)

Disney's Very Merry 2009

I love this tradition that my family has of going to Disney's Very Merry each year. I went for over 10 years now and this was by far the best year and I think it was because Payton was so into everything. She has given up her nap but luckily she feel asleep in the car so we killed time before going into the park and got a full nap out of her so she was in a great mood all night long and lasted until the very end. Everyone went again this year so there was lots of family to play with. The weather was perfect... not too hot and not too cold! Britton was not way into it but was still a very good boy and got to spend lots of time with Grandma Good Girl. We did lots of dancing with the characters and Payton, Madison and Cameryn and myself really enjoyed this. We took Payton to watch the big show on the stage and Payton kept asking for Minnie Mouse to come see her... she could not understand that she was one of thousands so we kept telling her that Minnie was tired and busy. We can't wait for next year! We love Disney!

Britton was flirting with the girls in line.

Britton and Payton both had leashes on and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has kids under 5... it gave me great peace of mind.

Payton and Madison waiting on the Pooh Bear ride.

Payton getting the Tea Party ready for Minnie.

Payton dancing the night away!

Dumbo was Payton's favorite ride but it HAD to be the pink Dumbo. She lucked out and got to ride the pink one 4 different times.

A giant Pluto... o wow!
She is so happy...

... and so am I! It's great to have kids as an excuse to ride the kiddie rides;)
