Why I sometimes can't get anything done!

Here is a reminder of why sometimes I can't keep my house completely clean as I would like it to be. When you have little monkeys like this running around it makes it a very challenging task!

Train ride to the pumpkin patch

Today I got to take my first train ride! It was so much fun despite the ridiculous heat. We rode the train for about 30 minutes and then stopped at a pumpkin patch where they had face painting, balloon making, animals, pumpkins and other festive fall stuff. Since Jonathon was not able to come because he had to go to Orlando for his Acupuncture course Rick took Britton on as his date and chased him around the pumpkin patch. Payton had a great time even though she about had a heart attack from this scarecrow that was on stilts. They are doing a polar express train ride in December and we are all thinking about going to that as well.

I had to sit in the photo because Britton would not hold still for even a second to take a photo.

Rainbow Brite and her girlfriend/husband

Tonight my sister needed me to watch Cameryn and Madison so her and Cameron could go to an adult only party so I met them in Deland. My sister told me what Cam was dressing up like and in my head I pictured it being funny but it was a whole different story once they pulled up and got out of the car. I could not stop laughing... it was hilarious! We were at a gas station and everyone was trying not to stare but kept looking back. What a fun couple!

I think the arms and facial hair gave it away although he did make a pretty female;).

Payton's first school field trip

Miss Bonnie planned a field trip for all of the parents to take the students to a pumpkin patch in Longwood. It was a Methodist church that did the pumpkin patch and they did a really nice job. There was story time, games and lots of pumpkins. Rhea and the boys meet us there to have some fun with us.Payton picking out her baby pumpkin...

So sweet!

Pecan Hunting

Today me and the kids went and picked up my mom and headed over Ron's tree nursery for a picnic and to hunt for pecans. It was such a neat and fun experience. Payton was totally into it and found lots of them. It was like hunting for Easter eggs. The thing that I thought was so cool was being able to pick them up from the ground and crack them and eat them right there. We got a few bags full of them and there was lots still left. Payton and Nee getting the picnic set up.

Payton is a natural pecan hunter!
Britton did a little hunting but mostly just enjoyed running.

Payton would take the ones out of Britton's bucket and add them to hers.

Feeding baby cow

After doing so serious pecan hunting we went over to my mom's sister-in-laws house to see the baby cow drink a bottle. Debbie tried to feed it from the bottle but the baby cow was not interested since it was weened a week ago. It was still fun watching it try. We are going to try to go again when there is another baby that is drinking from the bottle.

Payton thought this was so cool.

Cocoa Beach in the Cold

Jonathon and I planned to go to Cocoa Beach for the weekend and we chose the only weekend that had been cold all fall. It did not matter to us though because we love it there hot or cold! We did not do any swimming but we did lots of walking, shell hunting and relaxing. Payton picking me a yellow baby flower.
