New Year's Party

This year for New Year's we went to the lakehouse to party like it was 1999 with Rick, Linda, Natalie and Jackson. We took a boat ride, ate good food, played games, let off fireworks and celebrated the New Year. For the sake of the kids we pretended that 8pm was midnight. It was a lot of fun and a great way to start the new year!

Jonathan got me these cute wooden decorations from Utah. I have been fun doing them and even let the kids help me with this craft and they are a big help.

4-wheeling

This is Britton's 4-wheeler that is only allowed in the house. It's little but Britton makes room to give Payton a ride. He does the funniest tricks on this thing.

Universal Studios Christmas Eve Eve

For Christmas Eve Eve we took the kids to Universal Studios. It was a little crowded but the weather was great and we had a great family night.

Crazy Goose

Picture this... I just go to the temple with the kids, go to the church book store, buy us all an ice cream cone and we sit down to watch/feed the ducks at the pond infront of the LDS book store.

I was thinking how lucky I was and how much I loved my children as I watched them happy and enjoying their ice cream cones. Now picture this crazy thing...

If you look closely... yes... that is blue ice cream on his beak and body. As we were sitting enjoying our ice cream he ran at us and bit Britton's Ice Cream cone. I got scared and threw my fresh white chocolate ice cream cone at this crazy bird! I don't know what I was thinking at the time but he really scared me! He was so mean! I thought he just wanted food so I gave him our bread and that was not good enough. We had to leave because he was not backing down. Last time he gets our bread!

Making Cookies With Grandma

Linda called me up and invited the kids to come over to help her make cookies. This was a big treat for them and a huge treat for me because it meant that I didn't have to do cut outs this year!!

You Got A Lawn Mower?

Britton spotted this little boy at target and went up to him and said, "You got a lawn mower?" The little boy looked at Britton like he was crazy.
