Finally... The Kiddie Pools Are Out!

The kids and I have been waiting for a day like this for a while and today was a perfectly warm day to get the kiddie pools out. You would have thought I had taken them to Disney with how excited they were. Payton ran up to me and said, “Mommy this is so much fun!” I love it! Rhea brought her boys out to play as well. We had lots of fun in the sun… finally!

Payton's Rock Garden

I have been wanting to do a garden for a long time and finally Konnie came over to help me and Payton get it started. Payton has been collection rocks and putting them in the garden for a while so we called Payton's Rock Garden. We started off by planting a tomato plant, broccoli seeds, melons, a sunflower, lettuce and some herbs. Payton and I have had so much fun watching everything grow and watering the garden. Payton is very proud of our work! Now it is my goal to not kill everything and actually make a salad out of what we have grown... we will see;).

Spring Picking

I have been waiting for this day of the year that we could go pick wild spring flowers. Today we had a picnic behind my house and picked beautiful flowers. The girls were so proud of their findings. They would pick a few flowers and come give them to me with a big hug! We had lots of fun and got great souvenirs.

Britton was not in to picking the flowers but sure did enjoy finding sticks... such a boy!

Spring has Sprung

Our flowers have been blooming like crazy! I think this is the first year that I truly appreciate the beauty that is given by the Springtime.

Britton's New Kicks

Britton wants his shoes on before he even puts his diaper on. He loves his new shoes! He will find them and try to put them on and then push them in to me so I can put them on him.

Big Boy is in Nursery... Hooray!

Jonathon and I have been counting down to this day that Britton could go to Nursery. Surprisingly I was a little sad the morning of... but not sad enough to not let him go;). Britton got a good report. There is a lot of little boys in there so I think he is going to fit in just fine and the nursery workers are amazing with the kids.


I know Jonathon, the Sunday School Class, and Priesthood are happy to have him in there since Britton had no interest in sitting still and quiet during lessons. We have been working on the reverence thing but lets just say it is a work in progress.

Uptown with Andrea and Emily

Andrea and I decided to meet up at Uptown Altamonte for lunch and to do some walking and feeding the ducks. The kids had a great time. The only thing was that I only brought one stroller and by the end of the walk Payton had enough of the walking so it made it tough but still a very fun trip.

Dinner with the Shaw Family

Tonight we had Stephanie, Carl and Lillian over for dinner. We played cards while Payton got to play with her little buddy Lillian. They are so cute together and have great fashion sense;)!

Seaworld

Today I took Payton and Britton to Seaworld to meet up with Katelyn, Rhea and the kids. We had so much fun! The weather was perfect and the shows were great. I was a little nervous about taking the kids by myself but it was no problem. Payton walked most of the time until the end where she made me carry her on my shoulders while I pushed Britton in the stroller. We will probably see lots more of Seaworld this summer.
