It's a girl

Jonathan and I went in at 15 Weeks (soonest they would do a gender reveal ultrasound) to find out if we were having a boy or girl.  Payton and Jonathan really wanted it to be a girl and Britton and I didn't care too much either way.  I didn't realize I wanted a girl until the ultrasound tech said it was a girl and than I was sitting on top of a cloud! Jonathan and I were both so excited! Mainly because everything looked good on the ultrasound but also because I was so happy to tell Payton that she was having a sister!



I started getting ready to have a little gender revile party for our family until I got the heartbreaking news that my Grandma had passed away.  I got the text at 5am so I packed up and headed to my mom's house. 

Payton's Last Day of Kindergarten

Today was Payton's last day of Kindergarten.  I am so happy with the year she had with Mrs. Bulick.  She learned a lot and made some really good friends.  Payton got the award for Best Writer and also for top girl in having the most books read.  I'm so proud of my girl and how hard she has worked!

We went on a long family walk with the dogs and the dog that needs the walk the most got wore out and we had to call for backup. Britton had to tow the sausage back home!

Hillbilly Fun!!

I had this great idea from Pinterest to make the kids a waterbed to play on in the backyard.  Jonathan helped me put it together and we both laughed at them as they played on this silly piece of plastic that was filled with water and closed off with duct tape! The kids did love it so that was what counts!

Happy Mother's Day

Today for Mother's Day we had a nice relaxing day at my mom's house.  I'm very grateful for the women in my life that I am able to celebrate on this special day and also that I get to me a mommy!!
