Baby Alex Has Arrived

Rhea and Geoffrey decided they wanted to have another holiday baby so Rhea went into labor and had Baby Alex on New Year’s Eve. I think what made Alex come a little early was Rhea and Geoffrey having the hope of getting to see fireworks again while staying at the hospital ;). Alex weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces and is very healthy and adorable. I think he looks like a mixture of Jayden and Geoffrey. Rhea is doing great. Jonathon and I went to see them with the kids and Payton was a little confused and thought Rhea was holding Britton. Britton was excited to have his buddy finally arrive;). Congratulations Rhea, Geoffrey and Jayden!

Mr. Button's two month checkup

Today I took Britton for his two month checkup and the doctor said he looked great. He now weighs 12 pounds and is 23 inches. Dr. Madden said that there was nothing I could do for his smelly gas so I apologize to those who have had to deal with it or will encounter it in the future;). 8w1d

Christmas Day 2008

Christmas morning we woke up and let Payton open all of her presents and then we went out to my mom and Ron’s house to spend the rest of our Christmas. My mom cooked a delicious turkey dinner and then we opened presents and relaxed the rest of the day. My mom got Britton his first Tonka Truck.

Christmas Eve 2008

This year for Christmas Eve we went over to Ricky and Konnie’s house for lunch time. Konnie and her mom made a wonderful feast and had excellent deserts. When we got home we took a short nap and packed up and went to Rick and Linda’s to play games and hangout. It was such a great Christmas Eve!

Fudge pop anyone?!?

If I need a few extra minutes to get readyI give her a Popsicle or fudge pop to keep her busy. I still find her to be adorable even when she is ridiculously messy like this.

Cameryn Grace... my little nanny!

My sweet little niece Cameryn came and stayed at my house for a few nights and what a little helper she is. I can't believe how grown up she has gotten over the last few years. She helped me so much with the kids. Cameryn held Britton for hours and played with Payton a lot. We went to the park for a picnic and then Cameryn chased Payton around the park while I got to be lazy and just hold Britton and watch. It was so funny watching her interact with Payton because although Cameryn would be a little girl and play along with Payton, Cameryn would also be very nurturing and make sure Payton was having fun and using her manners such as when Payton would cough Cameryn would remind her to cover her mouth;). I love my Cameryn Grace so much and can't wait for her to come stay with me again.

Gaylord Palms

Jonathon and I took Payton and Britton up to the Gaylord to watch the holiday shows and walk around the hotel. My sister and her family and my mom met us up there. Linda and Rick were going to come as well but Linda cut her had while messing with an apple so she they had to spend their night in the hospital... no fun! Cameryn and Payton watching the shows.

Payton's Potty Trained... Hooray!

Payton has officially been potty trained! We have been accident free now for the last month and I could not be more excited! I think she would have done it sooner if it would not been for her mother who dreaded the thought of having to take her out in public with no diaper;). I have to say it has not been near as difficult as I had it in my head... but not something I look forward to doing again with Britton. I never realized how nasty public bathrooms were until now having to take Payton into them and trying to keep her from touching all of the "yuckies"!

Happy Anniversary My Love!

Today was our 4 year wedding anniversary and this year makes 10 years that Jonathon and I have been together as a couple. It is amazing all of the stuff that has happened since we met when I was a freshman in high school and Jonathon was a senior. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful man as my husband and best friend. Jonathon and I celebrated our anniversary by going on a date to get sushi at Amura. Happy Anniversary Jonathon… I love you so much!

Treat Time!

Linda, Rhea, and I went over to Katelyn to make Christmas treats. Rhea and I brought Payton and Jayden over to play with Macie so we did not get a lot of our treats done but still had a great time hanging out and sampling the goodies.
